WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS…. MAKE LEMONADE

UK Wedding Planner

A very warm welcome to my wedding blog! My name is Senel and I am a UK Wedding Planner. I work with clients from around the world to create beautiful, personal and elegant weddings in the UK and Europe. 2020 has proved to be an extremely challenging year, particularly for those of you who were meant to be celebrating your wedding!

Over the last few weeks I’ve been working behind the scenes to postpone my clients weddings. Some have decided to move their wedding to the end of the year, and others to Spring and Summer 2021. It has been heartbreaking for my couples and challenging at times, but I know it is going to be more than worth the wait.

This week’s wedding blog post is from the wonderful Chloe Fuller, Owner of the Luxe Paper Co. Based in Cambridge, Chloe designs beautiful bespoke stationery for couples planning a wedding in the UK. Chloe’s own wedding is due to take place in September this year and I have everything crossed in the hope the wedding can go ahead. With first hand experience of how heartbreaking this situation is for many couples, Chloe has designed a beautiful suite of ‘Change the Date’ wedding stationery. Allowing couples to communicate their change of date with a luxurious and elegant invitation without compromising on design or quality. Chloe’s beautiful designs can be printed on a range of luxurious papers, or sent digitally via email.

UK Wedding Planner

If you’re planning a wedding in the UK (or even abroad!) there are a number of practical steps that you need to take in order to change the date of your wedding, but importantly you need to communicate with your guests your change of date as soon as possible.

Chloe says ‘ It can be incredibly time consuming to ring or text all your guests so I would suggest sending a beautiful ‘change the date’ in the style of your wedding. I will work with you to create something you’re completely happy with and can offer advice on the best way to send these out to your guests. Alternatively, I can put together a bespoke wedding website for you, allowing you to post updates in seconds for all your guests. If you have not yet settled on a new date, this could be the perfect way of keeping everyone in the loop. Although postponing your wedding is a horrible thing to have to do, you will have a new date and you will have the most wonderful time. When life gives you lemons – make lemonade!’
